常设展览临沂市博物馆常设展览面积10000平方米，形成了一个通史七个专题互为补充的常设展览展示体系。

The regular exhibition area is 10000㎡ upon which formed a complementary system among 7 general historical themes.
“临沂历史文化展”展厅。位于临沂市博物馆二层，展览以历史发展时间为主线，突出展示临沂历史文化进程中的主要闪光点，共分序厅，人类早期的足迹——旧石器、细石器时代，文明的曙光——新石器时代，辉煌的青铜文化——商、周时期，繁荣富足的盛世——汉、晋时期等六个单元。以展示临沂地域文化特色为定位，学术性与通俗化有机结合是展览的亮点，大量设计制作与展览主体相关的遗址场景复原、动漫成像等科技辅助展示，多方位多角度立体呈现了临沂悠久的历史文化。
"History and Culture Exhibition of Linyi " hall is on the second floor of Linyi City Museum. The exhibition emphatically showed several main shinning points of historical and cultural course of Linyi. The main exhibition hall is divided into 6 preface halls through the time line: the earlier footprint of human----the Old Stone Age, down of civilization----the Neolithic Age, glorious bronze culture----Shang&Zhou periods, flourishing and wealthy age----Han&Jin periods. Demonstrating regional culture of Linyi City and combining technicality with popularization are two features of the exhibition. Through plenty of designs and manufactures, related scene recovery and technological means like carton image centuries' history of Linyi was presented from multiple aspects and multiple angles.
《石上史诗——汉画像石专题展》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆一层，展览按舒朗的展区分割，共分为“序厅”、“华贵地府”白庄画像石墓、“创其滥觞”西汉画像石展示、“尽其深致”东汉画像石展示4个单元。展出代表临沂地域特征的汉画像石100余块，生动地描绘了汉代社会的衣食住行、风俗人情等社会百态。特别是展出的东汉晚期的吴白庄、五里堡等大型画像石墓，气势恢宏，装饰华丽，雕刻精美，展示了两千年前先民们高超的艺术水准，反映了汉代物质文化、精神文化的高度文明，犹如一部镌刻在石头上的浩瀚的史诗世界。
《馆藏造像和其他石刻艺术品陈列》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆一层，展出大量的隋、唐时期的造像碑、幢以及明、清时期的石碑等，其中不少具有重要的史料价值，为研究我国古代的政治、经济、军事、文化等提供了大量的实物资料。
"The Epics on the Stone: Han Dynasty Stone Relief Exhibition" hall is on the first floor and different exhibition areas are divided into 4 units: "preface hall","magnificent Baizhuang portrait tomb", "birth of Western Han stone relief" and "blossom of Eastern Han stone relief". More than 100 stone relieves with regional features of Linyi describe the basic necessities and folk customs of Han dynasties vividly. The Wubaizhuang and Wulibao stone tombs in late Eastern Han are elegant, decorated magnificently and carved beautifully which demonstrated the high artistic standard and reflected the high material and mental civilization of Han Dynasty. It seems like there's a vast epic world hidden in the stone.
"Status and Other Stone Inscription Artworks Collection" hall is on the first floor with a great deal of figured steles and inscription steles from Ming and Qing period exhibited in it. Some with full of important valuable historical data provide plentiful materials for studying ancient politics, economy, military and culture.
《土与火的艺术——史前陶器展》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆三层，展览分史前陶器形成发展、史前陶器的成型工艺与装饰、史前陶窑的结构与陶色、大汶口文化时期出土陶器、龙山文化时期出土陶器、蛋壳陶精品展示、蛋壳陶制作场景复原等几部分。临沂地区的沂、沭河流域，史前时期是东夷部族活动的主要区域之一，出土的史前陶器，造型独特，工艺精湛，表现内容多种多样，具有浓厚的生活气息和独特的艺术风格，尤其是展出龙山文化时期的“蛋壳黑陶”器30余件，被誉为“土与火的艺术，力与美的结晶”
"Art of Mud and Fire: Prehistoric Pottery" hall is on the third floor. The whole exhibition is composed of the origin, development, moulding techniques and decoration and color of prehistoric pottery, construction of prehistoric pottery kiln, potteries from Dawenkou culture period and Longshan culture period and manufacturing scene restoring and exhibition of egg-shell pottery. Present Yi river and Shu river basins used to be the East Yi clan's main activity space in prehistoric period. The pottery discovered are shaped uniquely and made exquisitely. The content performs diversely and shows a special artistic style. More than 30 egg-shell black potteries from Longshan culture period is praised as "the art of mud and fire, the crystal of strength and beauty".
《翰墨丹青——馆藏书画展》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆三层，临沂市博物馆建馆以来，得到了社会各界的关心和支持，展览以馆藏和捐赠书画为基础，遴选出近百幅具有代表性的艺术作品，有清代黄慎、恽南田、刘墉、林则徐等的书画精品；亦有当代方济众、宋文治、魏紫熙、崔子范、叶浅予等名家力作。正所谓丹青吐彩，翰墨飘香，通过展览以期达到向观众展示中国传统文化丰富多彩的特性和优美典雅的艺术魅力。
"Appreciation of Chinese Arts：Calligraphy & Painting Exhibition" hall is on the 3rd floor. Since Linyi City Museum constructed, we have received concerns and support from all sectors of society. Based on the collection and donation, about 100 representative artistic works are selected exhibited in this hall. Not only there are calligraphy and paintings from Liu Yong and Lin Zexu who lived in Qing Dynasty, but from famous artists of the time like Fang Jizhong, Song Wenzhi, Wei Zixi, Cui Ziyuan, Ye Qianyu and so on. We expect that by the exhibition the colorful characteristics and beautiful and elegant artistic charms of traditional Chinese culture can be enjoyed by more audiences.
《古代货币展》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆三层，展览按时代发展为主线，分十个小单元。荟萃了先秦、秦汉、三国两晋南北朝、隋唐五代十国、两宋、辽金元、明清、民国等时代以及国外、民俗钱中代表性的货币精品。临沂地区自古为兵家必争之地，历年出土的古钱币不但数量多，而且种类齐全，尤以先秦齐国刀币存量大、种类齐。透过展览，我们既可以看到货币在社会进化中诞生和发展的概貌，又可以看出临沂古城历史悠久，人杰地灵，商贾云集的盛况。
"Ancient Currency: The primary Coin" hall is on the 3rd floor. Regarding the development of the era as principal line, the whole hall is divided into 10 units. You can not only appreciate currencies from pre-Qin period, Qin&Han dynasties, the Three Kingdoms, Jin dynasties, the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui&Tang dynasties, Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Song dynasties, Liao Jin&Yuan dynasties, Ming&Qing dynasties and the Republic of China but the representative folk custom currencies form abroad. We can see the birth and development of currency accompanied by the evolvement of human society and the long history, outstanding men, and flourishing business of Linyi City.
《历代铜镜展》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆三层，展览按时代发展为主线，分精巧灵秀的战国铜镜、精致超逸的汉晋铜镜、绚丽多姿的唐代铜镜、世俗繁杂的宋金元明铜镜四单元。展出铜镜100余枚，时代跨度从战国至明代，以汉镜和唐镜为主流，其中也不乏各个时代的精品。展览从使用功能、造型、纹饰、铭文、时代特色与铜镜文化等方面，展现了我国古代铜镜的发展历史，同时也侧面反映了中国历代的社会生活与文化艺术风貌。
Bronze Mirror Exhibition Hall is on the 3rd floor. The exhibition consists of 4 units: Ingenious and Delicate bronze mirror from the Warring States time, Exquisite and Elegant Bronze mirror from Han&Jin dynasties, Gorgeous and Varied bronze mirror from Tang Dynasty, Mundane and Complex bronze mirror from Song, Jin, Yuan and Ming dynasties. The exhibition contains mirrors from warring states period to Ming dynasty and the mainstream are the mirrors from Han and Tang Dynasties with plenty of boutiques among them. Not only the development history, but the life and culture artistic styles are expressed by the function, moulding, ornamentation, inscription, era characteristics, and culture of bronze mirrors.
《沂蒙红色文化》展厅。位于临沂市博物馆四层，展览以历史发展时间为顺序，以红色文化源远流长、革命根据地创建概要、红色文化的发展与繁荣、革命遗址和纪念地、红色文化的继承与创新等六个主题单元展示为主线，依托馆藏大量实物资料、原始照片、专家著述等，系统展示了沂蒙红色文化的形成、发展历程以及对革命事业的巨大推动作用。“沂蒙红色文化展”曾荣获2016年第三届山东省博物馆十大精品陈列展览奖和2016年第二届山东省文化创新奖。
"Yimeng Red Culture Exhibition" hall is on the 4th floor. Taking the linear time order, there are six units: long-standing and well-established Red Culture, founding of revolutionary base, development and flourishing of Red Culture, revolutionary sites and monuments and the inheriting and innovation of red culture. Material data, original photos, writings from experts systematically present the forming and development course of Yimeng Red Culture and the great role Yimeng Red Culture played in revolutionary cause. "Yimeng Red Culture" exhibition was awarded as the 3rd top ten boutique exhibition award of Shandong provincial museum and cultural innovation award of Shandong Province in 2016.
临时展览：
为扩大博物馆的影响力、号召力和宣传力度，加强馆际间的文化交流和业务往来，更好地实现博物馆社会教育职能，满足公众需求，临沂市博物馆以自主开发、合作开发或引进的方式，每年都推出一系列优秀临时专题展览。这些展览题材广泛、内容丰富，影响较大的有：“纪念抗日战争胜利五十周年大型图片展”、“建国五十周年临沂历史文物精品展”、“大师窖藏——走进山东半岛名作展”、“齐鲁瑰宝”精品文物展、“留住乡愁——乡村记忆工程纪实图片展”等临时性展览。
temporary exhibition：
For the sake of expanding the influence, appeal and propaganda, strengthening the cultural communication and business contact, realizing the social eduction function further of the museum and satisfying the needs of public, Linyi City Museum bring out a series of temporary thematic exhibition every year by the way of self-development, joint development or introduction. Several famous exhibitions: Photo exhibition for commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the victory of the war of resistance against Japan, Linyi historical relics exhibition for 50th anniversary of the founding of China, master hoard——famous works of Shandong Peninsula, "Qilu spirit treasure" cultural relics exhibition, keep your hometown memory——record of rural memory project exhibition.
教育活动：
为充分发挥博物馆社会教育和公共文化服务职能，临沂市博物馆专设二级机构社教部，负责对外宣传教育工作，开设“文博讲堂”、“文物鉴宝”等系列公益活动和讲座。近年来还与多家学校建立校外教育基地的合作关系，推出了一系列形式新颖、内容丰富的社会教育活动，重点有围绕国家传统节日、纪念日开展“我们的节日”系列活动，“流动博物馆进校园、进社区”，“青少年文史大讲堂”，“今年我毕业”暑期公益实践活动等，并建成“青少年活动中心”等配套服务设施，逐渐形成系列化、常态化、品牌化、规范化的运作模式，收到了良好的社会效果。
Educational activity:
In order to play full functional role in social education and public culture service, Linyi City Museum sets social education department as a second class organization to take charge of the external publicity and education work. Not only the public service activities and lectures like "cultural relics lecture", "cultural relics evaluation" and etc., our museum also cooperates with several schools to establish out-of-school educational bases, and brings out a series of novel and social education activities, including "Our Festival", "Portable Museum to Campus and Community", "Culture and History Lecture for Teenagers", public benefit activity in summer holiday "graduation year" and related service facility like "Activity Center for Teenagers". A serialized, normalized, branded, standardized operation mode is forming gradually which gains a favorable social reaction.
